Rosy-cheeked 13 year old Mongolian Aisholpan is trained by her admiring and enlightened father to achieve her dream of hunting on horseback with a golden eagle. This beautifully shot film, reminiscent of Flaherty, follows her as she overcomes scathing Kazakh elders and arctic temperatures in the remote and stunning Altai mountains.
