The incident sparked off the now infamous Tottenham riots. George Amponsah\u2019s insightful, humanising documentary picks up the story from where the media left off.<\/p>\n<p>We are delighted that director George Ampsonah will be attending the screening for a Q&amp;A<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div>&#8220;<i>The Hard Stop<\/i> is a rare and valuable insight into the anger, alienation and absolute enmity to the police among many young black men in Tottenham. Curiously, though, it makes you feel sympathy not only for its subjects but also for those, here unseen, unheard, who have to cope with that every day.
