Venue: (see Locations and Tickets for further details)
Programme category: Forest Row Film Society
Director: Anthony Asquith, UK 1928, 93 mins, PG
This stunning silent, a romantic and thrilling drama set in and around the London Underground of the 1920s is a wonderful time-capsule. It features a love triangle that sparks jealousy, madness and a sensational chase – the final showdown across the roof of Lots Road power station, pre-empts the thrills of The Bourne Supremacy by a good eight decades. With live music from Terry Davies.
