"The acting on all fronts is outstanding, with Mikkelsen holding the centre magnificently as the wronged teacher, his life contaminated by the slow-acting poison of rumour." Anthony Quinn The Independent
From the director of Festen, Lucas (Mads Mikkelsen) is a primary school teacher whose world is turned upside-down when he is accused of child abuse in a small Danish town. A few words from the child, Klara, shatter the seemingly strong masculine bonds between him and his friends. But Lucas is defiant and even strengthened as he faces this onslaught.
"The Hunt is a terrifying film, anchored by Mikkelsen's poignantly poised turn and saturated with uncomfortable truths about society, childhood and our susceptibility to mass hysteria." Emma Dibdin Digital Spy
