This short documentary by Italian master Ermanno Olmi (The Tree of Wooden Clogs) is one of two films this season from the Bologna Slow Food Film Festival. Focussing on the winemaking and culture of the Valtellina hillsides in the north of Italy, this is a very gentle end to the Forest Row Festival including a special wine tasting.
This screening is part of Scalarama, a nationwide celebration of cinema that takes place every September, and which has an aspiration to fill the land with cinemas. We’re happy to be doing our bit to do just that….
