Director: G.W. Pabst, Germany 1928, 130 mins, PG
Based on plays by Frank Wedekind, Pandora’s Box is one of the great films of Weimar Germany. Starring an iconic Louise Brooks as Lulu, a seductive young woman, it is also a great piece of film-making. With live music from Terry Davies.

Acting and characterisations suberb. I hated the old father. Excellent miming and good facial expresions.
Only one fault. Much too long, cut 30 minutes. No time then to be bored.
Wonderful music from Terry Davies, thank you
