"Lunana’s appeal is hard to miss … unashamedly sentimental and so open-hearted, you want to breathe it in, to fill your lungs with it" The Guardian

Ugyen has one year of teaching left to complete his five years of government service but what he really wants is to travel to Australia and become a singer. Instead he is sent to the most remote school in the world in Lunana, Bhutan. After an eight day trek, he finds himself in a schoolroom with no electricity or teaching supplies in a village of only fifty people — and their yaks!

"The gorgeous views of the Himalayan mountains only add to the appeal of a film that … is an irresistible delight from start to finish" Radio Times
