"A sublime vision of innocence being protected by comically benign forces" Guardian

Comedy was a popular genre in the films of the 1920s, and no-one could deliver visual humour like Buster Keaton. After the huge success of The General, Keaton turned to this simple story of river boat rivalry, and filled it with some of his most audacious stunts. One of the last great moments of silent cinema, this screening will be presented with live music by Olivier-award-winning composer Terry Davies.
