The Solé family have run a thriving peach farm in rural Catalonia for generations, it is the heart of their extended family life. When the new owner of the land wants to grub out the ancient peach trees and replace them with a solar farm, the family feel their very existence is threatened. Using mainly non-professional actors, Simón creates a tense and beautifully filmed drama which highlights a very modern dilemma.
