Introducing the 2024-25 season
There are some adjustments to some of our activities this season. First off, we have streamlined our administration to simplify ticketing and accounting. We have always been open to everyone, not just our members, so for this year we have decided not to have a membership category at all. For most people, this will mean you will continue to pay the same admission as before (and some may even pay less!). The second change is that, as a consequence of no longer being a member organisation, we now have a new name: Forest Row Community Cinema. We will continue to take as much care with our programming as ever, and endeavour to screen films that we hope you, our audience, will love. Thank you for all your support.
We have always taken care to programme a wide range of films, of different genres, from many parts of the world, and not just focus on new(ish) releases. We recognise that we have 130 years of film history to explore and we try to include a little bit of that for you too.
So, this season we have a slightly different mix compared with recent years. There are classics from the 1950s and 1980s, and a small selection of documentaries, which are often under-represented in our programme. And, of course, we have some of the major new releases of the last year or so, not least of which is The Zone of Interest, which we screen in April.
You can see the full schedule of films on the left-hand side of our website.
We look forward to seeing you. Do tell your friends and spread the word!
