“It possesses everything that allows me to fall in love with cinema, again and again.” E Nina Rothe, Huffington Post

A subtle portrayal of the collision of East and West that occurred in Jordan during World War I, in which a young Bedouin boy is propelled into manhood in the space of a few days. Concerned with themes of survival and revenge, this is a tense and beautifully-filmed debut by English-born Abu Nowar.

“It’s rare that a film manages to surprise viewers at every turn, especially for cinephiles who are so well versed in film, but this movie does just that…” William Brownridge, Toronto Film Scene
