"Riveting from its first moments, The Connection is fascinating in its presentation of character, as well as for its glimpse into the workings of an international drug empire and into the ways an imaginative cop found to chip at its power."- Mick LaSalle, San Francisco Chronicle

Based on real events, The Connection reflects the Marseille end of the 1970's Gene Hackman classic, The French Connection. Its gritty realism is balanced by extraordinary attention to period detail as newly arrived magistrate, Pierre Michel, embarks on a lengthy battle with chilling arch-mobster 'Tany' Zampa, whose tentacles reach disturbingly deep.

"The film is engaging, propulsive, cut with rare brio, chockablock with consummate tough-guy business." – Alan Scherstuhl, Village Voice
