A great comedy about a young guy, Cassim, who dreams of becoming a stand-up comic, while his father wants him to take over the family fabric business, and for whom ‘life is not a funny business’. Dealing with generational conflict, Islam and identity, Material is a delightfully generous and warm-hearted film.
